Life is Better on this Side of the Chesapeake

Anne Arundel County l July 17, 2017

The way the sun hits the water on the Chesapeake, the delicious crab feasts, boat tours and sunrise yoga at Sandy Point State Park- all of these make summer in Chester, Maryland something truly special. Gibson’s Grant, located minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Queenstown outlets, is a beautiful place to call home. There is a community swimming pool, fitness center, sundeck, and outdoor pavilion and fireplace.

While these amenities are numerous, the location is what sets Gibson’s Grant apart. With six marinas nearby, it is easy to find fresh seafood and Maryland’s staple crabs at several of the local Kent Island restaurants. Some of your neighbors may even have some classic Eastern Shore crab dip recipes they may be willing to share.

Do you feel like exploring Baltimore, a.k.a. Charm City? Baltimore is home to the National Aquarium and several fun places to visit such as Fell’s Point and Little Italy.

If you’re looking for a day trip slightly further south, DC is home to several historic monuments and Smithsonian museums and other exciting places to visit. However, if forty minutes seems like too long a drive for a museum, right next door in Annapolis there is the National Cryptologic Museum, as well as some maritime and art museums.

So no matter what your interests, adventure is just around the corner at Gibson’s Grant, and there are plenty of new homes for you to choose.
