1. Maryland Renaissance Festival

Don’t miss the 41st annual Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville near Annapolis. It’s in the same county as several Koch Homes communities: Anne Arundel County!
2. National Hard Crab Derby & Fair – Crisfield
August 31-September 3, 2017
Crab races, crab cooking and picking contests, carnival rides, arts and crafts, vendors, live entertainment, beauty pageants, a parade, fireworks and more! This is an event for true Marylanders. Even better- most events are free and besides a $3 admission fee on Saturday, admission is free for the other days. Stop on by for some hearty Maryland fun!
3. Maryland State Fair
August 24-September 4, 2017
Different rides for everyone, livestock, thoroughbred races, snack stands, music performances and more. Adult admission $8, Senior admission (62 & over) $6, Children (6 to 11) $3, Children 5 and under are admitted FREE. Make sure to get to the Maryland state fair for some good ol’ fashioned fun!
4. Western Maryland Street Rod Roundup
September 1-3, 2017
This event will give you a day packed with car fun, dancing, and food for the whole crew! Don’t miss your chance to check out these hot rods!
